Course overview

This module explores what is and what is not bullying, provides clear steps for responding, and recommends support and prevention techniques to help build active bystander capability. Our psychological health and safety expert provides an overview of the key legal definitions and our responsibilities as employees, managers and organisations, and recommends tips with a wellbeing focus. Apply what you’ve learned to some challenging scenarios and take away some practical ideas for promoting a respectful culture at work, including tips for people leaders.

Fully updated for Australian Work Health and Safety legislation on psychosocial hazards.

I have been designing and conducting training in risk and compliance for 20+ years and I just wanted to share that the Enmasse training was some of the best online training I’ve ever done. When you see something that is human centred, personable, effective, digestible and easy to use, it’s rare.

Rhiannon R, Melbourne

I've recently become more aware of unconscious bias and affinity bias as barriers to true inclusion. The affinity bias exercise (around people you trusted) was really valuable as it was a bit of a light bulb moment and further broadened my understanding of some of the psychological factors at play in this space.

Nathan B, Melbourne

Great presenters. Very engaging. As a female who has been engaged in this work for some time it was refreshing to see that a majority of the men in the room are now on board with this messaging.

Pam S, Melbourne

The facilitator was great – she really cared about mental health issues and it showed. The practical examples were excellent.

Judy, Melbourne

I found defining the key concepts of mental health and wellbeing, the symptoms and how to respond appropriately was excellent.

Thomas, Melbourne

The case studies were excellent, and the practical tips on how to mange certain situations.
