I've recently become more aware of unconscious bias and affinity bias as barriers to true inclusion. The affinity bias exercise (around people you trusted) was really valuable as it was a bit of a light bulb moment and further broadened my understanding of some of the psychological factors at play in this space.
Would highly recommend the session to be mandatory for all staff, if possible of course! It's effective for building awareness and understanding.
