Research shows that people generally thrive where they have a supportive environment. Showing an interest in our colleagues and looking out for one another are the first steps to help create and build on this important protective factor. This session highlights the attributes of a supportive team culture and explores some helpful ways we can assist our colleagues or team members who are struggling with common life issues and challenges. We focus on recognising the signs that someone needs support and look at how to start a conversation about mental health and general wellness while being mindful of boundaries and confidentiality.
