The Self-Regulation & Awareness Index is a research-informed self-assessment that helps people tune into and develop the foundational skills of emotional intelligence at work.
In around 10–15 minutes, it measures five key factors: noticing your own emotions and body signals, thought patterns, and social dynamics (self-awareness) and managing emotional and behavioural responses, and sustaining mental focus (self-regulation). Responses translate into a personalised results profile with coaching insights tailored to each factor, alongside a development plan highlighting a clear priority focus and practical next steps. The Index is designed with neuroinclusion in mind, recognising that people vary naturally in how they process emotional and social information.
Available either as a SCORM package or via a non-login (anonymous) link, it’s a highly engaging and accessible way for individuals to build self-insight, and a useful accompaniment to any workshop on self-regulation, emotional intelligence or communication skills. Organisations can also draw on group-level insights through a manager’s dashboard, with targeted tips to help managers apply the skill-building advice to their own leadership practice.
