Duration
1 hour

This practical session helps employees proactively manage workplace expectations to reduce the risk of excessive job demands, workload pressure and role-related stress.

Participants will explore how expectations are formed, communicated and negotiated, and learn how misaligned expectations can contribute to psychosocial risk. Drawing on research into assertive communication and boundary setting, the session introduces a four-part evidence-based framework for having constructive, psychologically safe conversations about workload and capacity.

Participants will develop skills to communicate confidently, set realistic expectations and foster healthier, more sustainable ways of working.
