safetoChat is a simple-to-use, confidential, combined issue-reporting and support service for employees who wish to reach out about a matter concerning harmful behaviours at work.

safetoChat helps eliminate psychosocial hazards in your workplace by empowering your people to speak up about their experiences early – especially when they are not comfortable using existing channels or wish to remain anonymous – while providing convenient access to specialist support and trauma-informed care.

Available in a secure, unique-link website, safetoChat can be used by targets/victims, bystanders and alleged instigators either as a whistleblowing channel or simply to discuss any concern, ranging from non-inclusive behaviours and incivilities through to unlawful conduct (bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination, victimisation) and criminal conduct.

Users who submit a report receive end-to-end support in decision making and case handling, and can also choose their own support persons to be with them throughout the process (e.g. a friend, family member, colleague or Koori elder).

We work with you to set up a workflow for triaged complaints, should a complainant wish to have their issue followed up internally, ensuring specific types of issues reach the right people for resolution.

Full customisation is supported, including the option of branding, profiling questions (e.g. unique business cohorts), internal support options and links to relevant policies.
