Navigating politics & how to influence people

Politics at work is largely inevitable and needn’t be a bad thing. Working constructively with office politics can be done in ways that promote good mental health at work, fairness and respectful behaviours – and this program will show you how.  It explores the dynamics of organisational politics, what drives individuals to play certain roles, and how best to work within the prevailing political climate at work. It highlights the determinants of ethical workplace behaviours while providing some practical day to day tips on influencing people in positive ways. The program includes some challenging case studies and dilemmas that participants can discuss and work on in small groups, plus an opportunity to set some goals to ensure optimal outcomes at work.
